UNDERSTANDING YOUR DATA

Clarity starts with context.

The map groups colocated business records into one location marker. Its label prefers the most recently observed business that is currently open. The Location areas list groups points into generated H3 resolution 8 hexagonal cells; these are geographic aggregates, not official neighborhood boundaries.

What does “full crawl” mean?

A location qualifies when at least one business there has a stored detail observation. Use the map toggle to include all discoveries or only qualifying locations. Country comes from the ISO country code configured for the crawl region (Spain for Barcelona); it is region-derived metadata, not a Google-provided field. Other missing values remain TBD.

Location history is observation history. Each timeline entry is a snapshot captured on a crawl. It cannot reconstruct changes before the first observation; first observed is not a real-world opening or creation date.

This is not a complete map census. The collector indexes Google Maps points within the configured boundary. It does not cover every parcel, street segment, administrative polygon, or unnamed feature. “Last observed” is the latest collector observation, not a guarantee the source is current.
